Lac de Montréjeau (3km)

Facing the Pyrenean mountain range, in the heart of a peaceful and wooded environment, the leisure center and the lake cover 30 hectares. For picnicking, tables and barbecues are at your disposal. Facilities are available free of charge: children's playground, fitness equipment, beach-volleyball court, educational trail.

In summer, swimming is supervised and paying activities complete the offer: Aquaparc Comminges (inflatable games), pedal boat rides, paddles, bouncy castle, kayaks...

St Bertrand de Comminges (7km)

The majestic site of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges with its ancient city, its cathedral and its medieval village built on a promontory is classified among the most beautiful villages of France. At the foot of the upper town, the 12th century basilica of Saint-Just-de-Valcabrère is one of the most beautiful testimonies of Pyrenean Romanesque art. In summer, the festival du Comminges offers classical music concerts which take place in different religious buildings such as the Saint-Just basilica, the church of Martres-Tolosane...

Le Château de Bramevaque (13km)

Remains of the feudal castle (XIth century) are rich with strange legends. You can reach the castle via a beautiful and easy walk in the forest from the village of Mauléon Barousse. A path will lead you to the castle on top of a rocky peak where you can climb up to the keep and admire the panorama.

Rock climbing on the Falaise de Troubat (à 15km)

A must for climbing in France! This mythical cliff was the setting for the first climbing competition in France in 1986 - when more than 8000 people came to this wild and welcoming valley of the Barousse. Nestled at an altitude of 900m, there is a magnificent view of the valley and the castle of Bramevaque. An idyllic setting, overflowing with nature and full of tranquility. Le Gouffre de Saoule (17km)

The Barousse valley has been sculpted by erosion and a natural arch has been carved by the water in a block of limestone. The Ourse de Ferrère plunges below in a cascade of water. An easy walk for the whole family takes you down to this magical spot. At nightfall in the summer this site is illuminated.

Bonnefont Abbaye (30km)

The Abbey was founded in 1136 and was one of the most important sites of the Pyrenees - economically, culturally and spiritually. Today the site of the abbey is reborn as a cultural center. You can stroll through the remains of the old abbey on this beautiful airy site which today boasts a medieval Garden with medicinal, dyeing and edible plants. The Abbey welcomes the general public from June to September. An enticing cultural program takes place from May to October (Plant Festival, Garden visits, Exhibitions, night events, Wheat Festival, Medieval Fortnight).

Ski Nistos (32km)

A family resort, authentic and on a small scale, it is above all an incomparable leisure area both for the quality of its landscapes and for the wealth of activities on offer - far from the ski factories elsewhere. You can practice cross-country skiing, hiking or snowshoeing by following the many marked trails. All the equipment can be rented at the resort where you can also eat.

Luchon (35km)

Thermal city since the antique times. Luchon, with its beautiful villas, its casino... is a magnificent testimony to the great period of thermalism in the XIXth century. At 1800m, the first ski resort of the Pyrenees, Superbagnère, overlooks it and is accessible by cable car.
