Who are we?
Bea
Bea grew up in France but left after high school and did not return until 2021. She studied and lived in London, Milan, Montreal and Brussels. Working as a photographer she shot a bit of everything but mainly roamed the corridors of European politics, commissioned by major institutions as well as international press for almost 15 years. Before that, she worked in comms in the NGO sector and before that she did a lot of dishwashing!
Belgium was lacking mountains and it was time to go somewhere new. The area and the house found, she moved (with Steph) in January 2021 to launch the Tilia adventure which is being built in stages - first the Gite, then the guest rooms and then the photo courses and residences.
Other than that, Bea finds people who don't drink coffee suspicious and likes to wear ridiculous hats (according to Steph).
Steph
Steph grew up in Sweden, by the sea, with a Belgian mother. She travelled around France for her studies (Besançon, Lyon, Toulouse) with a few hops back to Sweden for a semester or two. She then headed up to Paris to lend a hand to the fight for marriage equality - mainly in support of LGBT families - and then landed in Brussels where she has been working for a migrant women's rights NGO for 6 years.

Other then that, Steph would like to know how to keep the bean plants from burning and presses too much tofu (according to Bea)
